New Shifter & Rear View Mirror Fix
This Weekend I bought a brand new shifter knob and some adhesive to fix my rear view mirror. The first thing i put on was of coarse the shifter knob, and it was quite easy. The rear view mirror fix was also very easy. So if you decide to buy a new shifter knob they are very easy to install, they feel look great when you are finished.

How to install a Manual fuel pump
First you need to make sure that the fuel pump is not functioning correctly, and if thats the case then you need to replace it. If you have a amc 258 Inline-6 then you probably have a manual fuel pump that you can pick up at your local auto shop.
1. Find the correct fuel pump.
2. You need to clean the area around the old fuel pump so no dirt or grime will enter the engine.
3. If your fuel line is cracked then buy some replacement fuel line, or your new pump might not work properly.
4. Next remove the old fuel pump, then toss that sucker out.
5. before you install the new pump you should probably put some grease on the lever.
6. align the gasket and pump on to the engine, and tighten the screws with the same torque.

7. If your engine does not start then the gas is probably not reaching the engine. I had the same problem and used a simple foot pump for an air matress and sucked the gas through the line.

Future Plans
For my jeep wrangler there are many things i would like to change or would like to make better.
some of the things i would like are...
3.5" lift kit, new seats, carpeted floor, re-manufactured Amc 258, Warn winch, new hood, black hard top, stainless dash, and some new speakers
! Not my Jeep Picture Found on eBay !
most of these things would be great, and continue to make the Jeep Wrangler a better vehicle.

The Jeep
When I turned 16 my parents bought me a 1989 Jeep Wrangler Laredo. The Vehicle had about 150 thousand miles on it, but i began my attempt to bring this baby back to life. The Wrangler has a Inline-6 with a new fuel pump and thats about it, but i am planning on getting the engine redone by Promar Engines. The tires are in very good shape, and i just installed some brand new Cragar 15x8 Classic wheels. The body is good but the hood is a little dented up.
